Problem Note 59643: SAS® Studio shows slow performance when a LIBNAME statement points to a library that contains many tables

SAS Studio performs a frequent refresh of the navigation tree. This might result in very slow SAS Studio performance when a LIBNAME statement is issued for a library that contains many tables, including SAS® data sets and database tables.
In SAS® Studio 3.6, you can control how often the navigation tree is refreshed. The following Refresh preference is provided and set by default in the general tab of the Preferences window: Automatically refresh libraries after each submission.
